<text>N 2002 REACH LA youth video maker, Ana Lopez, realizing a lack of media images of LGBT youth of color, began researching online for other video production groups around the U.S. to see if she could find other queer youth videos. To her excitement, she did find some other youth production groups. Out of this search REACH LA decided to produce national survey screening of queer youth produced media called “"Queer Youth Nation"”. "Queer Youth Nation" was first screened in Los Angeles at the LA Freewaves Festival of New Media in the Fall of 2002. Since then, Queer Youth Nation has become a regular part of the programming for OUTFEST - the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. --<a href="http://www.qycrashpad.com/videos.htm">qycrashpad</a></text>
