Title
Lives of Performers
Subject
feminist, woman filmmaker, perforance, experimental
Description
Dub for research for Women of Vision acquired from distributor. I taped over a video with a box label reading: Riverside Art-4, Fall 97, Jacob Lind, which led to some initial confusion when the Brooklyn College Librarians and I were trying to make sense of this tape. Yvonne was one of the instructors at the Whitney Independent Studio Program when I was a student there in 1987-88. How amazing to have been in her orbit!
She also attended, along with about 50 or more media feminists, the research meeting I recorded for what would become Women of Vision. The tape of that research meeting held in NY in 1994 has been annotated and is available here.
