Acquired for research for my doctoral disseration, then monograph, AIDS TV. Made for GMHC under the supportive leadership of Jean Carlomusto. A great deal of important AIDS activist and educational video work was done there. Gregg Bordowitz, Alisa Lebow, and Juanita Mohammed Szczepanski also made AIDS activist video at the A/V department. Gregg Bordowitz went on to be a central voice in the history of AIDS activism and art whose body of AIDS work was shown in 2021 at MoMA's PS1: I Wanna Be Well.
